Stepping in a Rattlesnake nest
your life flashes by at best
If you're southern Baptist just by chance
You're picking your partner for a Sunday dance
If this is new to you,
you better pray it don't bite or chew
If the snake whacks your leg
for your life you soon will beg
You best move quick cut and suck it out
Before you scream or shout
Chances are you're too far too hear
And medical help is not remotely near
