Hunter's Hope

The hunter's hope is simple at best
Walk into the wind and have courage in your chest
Think like a deer and never let your eyes be seen
Not so much as a predator so mean
Match your clothes so not to be seen in the surroundings near
So as not to attract attention or cause fear
Make your self smell like the woods all around
With sprays or dirt you find on the ground
either trick works quite well
Climb up in your tree to afford a view to tell
The bucks are smart they know that their cursed
With the racks on their head its harder to hide
the does come out first to save the bucks hides
Knowing full well the bone hunters sad pride
Take your does first to even your odds
The ratio of bucks to does
will even your odds and lessen your woes

Silently culling
